Individuals experiencing homelessness can come to Homeless Services Center to apply for funds needed to obtain a California Department of Motor Vehicles ID card. The funding comes from a generous grant from a local foundation to allow individuals experiencing homeless access to important documents needed to obtain housing and employment. Once the person fills out the application, it takes three days for a check to be processed, which the person can then take to the DMV to pay for the ID.
